![]() This fluid ain't cheap, especially at 10-12 quarts per. The TSB I think has a special flushing machine that they are supposed to use.įor now I have the desired slip tables zeroed out with HP Tuners, but I would like to turn them back to stock (yeah I know everyone thinks they are stupid), I am also curious to see if the new fluid makes the transmission behave any better especially at low speed shifting and driveability.Ĭmitchell, what drivability issues are you having? Couldn't it be because the TCM tune isn't dialed in properly? I'm asking because my slip tables are also zeroed out, but I have absolutely no issues at low speeds or part throttle scenarios, the A8 is butter smooth during normal driving.Īs to the flush, you'd probably have to go through a few drain cycles for results to be comparable with what the flush machine achieves, but by that point you'll be in as deep as if you'd just gone to a dealership. It would probably be way more money than its worth to buy a bunch fill it, drain it and repeat until you know all the old stuff is out. Has anyone done it by just draining and filling? I am thinking that's not going to work since I think you have to get all the old fluid out (around 12 quarts including the cooling system). I kind of don't even want to know how much the dealer would want, and yeah I know GM should pay for it but that's not going to happen unless maybe a court case goes somewhere. I had the tranny fluid flushed at 16,000 miles and replace at dealership last month.I am way out of warranty and had the first TSB done, but not the final 855 tsb with the new Mobil1 LV fluid (19417577) and machine flush. Please note, the TSB covers Cadillac (ATS, CTS, CT6, Escalade), Chevrolet (Camaro, Colorado, Corvetee, Silverado), and GMC (Canyon, Sierra, Yukon), the production dates applicable are different for each model, I only referenced the Colorado and Canyon dates above.Įmulous74 wrote:The TSB #18-NA-355: Shake and/or Shudder During Light Throttle Acceleration Between 25 and 80 MPH (40 and 128 KM/H) at Steady Speed - (July 29, 2019) Mobil 1 Synthetic LV ATF HP (Available only through Local GM Oil Distributors) These vehicles are already equipped with the latest HP fluid.
